ITS Expo 2023

ITS Expo 2023 was a large-scale innovation showcase event involving multiple stakeholders and divisions. As Deputy Head of Web Development, I was responsible for setting the technical direction and ensuring seamless collaboration across designers, product teams, and developers. Key challenges included: • Managing timelines within a large 27-member organizational structure • Aligning web development outputs with branding and public engagement goals • Ensuring scalable architecture to handle traffic spikes • Maintaining consistent code quality across contributors

I directed the technical roadmap and ensured alignment between design, product, and engineering teams. Agile methodologies were applied to break down development into manageable sprints, improving adaptability and transparency. Technical implementation included: • Building responsive interfaces using Next.js and Tailwind CSS • Leveraging TypeScript for maintainability and scalability • Enforcing best practices through structured code reviews • Managing collaboration via Git and GitHub Beyond technical execution, I focused on mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative culture that encouraged innovation and ownership.

The ITS Expo 2023 web platform became a central hub for showcasing student innovations to the public.
